AccuWeather says 5% chance of rain at 11 a.m. tomorrow, 50% at 2 p.m. and rising through afternoon. #nascar

Here's a revolutionary new idea - How about rain tires?

Seems to work in Formula 1.

They were cutting slits in turn 1 to release water. I really hope that isnt an issue tomorrow. The ground can't take anymore water....

Thank you very much for the live updates. I am sorry you traveled to the track and did not get to see it today. Hopefully the weather will be better tomorrow.

I'll be there tomorrow! I always make sure i have a rain date covered with work. I can't believe both races were rained out! When was the last time that happened? Thankfully Kentucky was nice!

Of course, having a new bed delivered tomorrow at I have no idea what time and the race gets postpone.

That's PERFECT! If it gets there before the race starts, you'll be able to get a nice nap in! :)
If only it was that easy, the box spring alone has like 40 screws , and per the website, drills are required to assemble the bed, last time I let the wife shop online without me being present.

I think this is the first time both races at a track in a single season were rained out.

If I had to assemble a Box Spring with 40 screws..... I would tell both the Company and my Wife that they could stick the whole thing up both of their collective asses........

Another idea is to hand the screw gun to your wife..... I have been married to the same woman for 38 years and she has become very proficient with a a drill and saw.

Raining hard at the track. This isn't going to happen today. Tomorrow will be dicey with the weepers...

I can vouch that as well! :D

Idk if they talked about them on the TV, but turn 1 was soaked from mid-groove down from weepers. Driving another 2.5 hours to be there tomorrow! Took 4 hours to get home with it absolutely DOWNPOURING 80% of the way. Never seen so much rain. Wipers were on full-blast most of the trip. 45-50mph the whole way home with some construction zones to slow it down a bit more.

Yes I'm crazy :owquitit:

You're not crazy Speedbowl. I'm doing the same thing. Only have a 2.5 hr ride though. I had to eat 2 tickets for June and I decided it's checkers or wreckers this time. I'm heading out with my son and meeting our group at the seats tomorrow. Almost everybody is coming back this time. No rain ALL DAY in central PA from the time we left. Huge difference all the time in weather across the state.

I'm sending Grade 1 winning filly "Weep No More" out to take care of this weeper nonsense...

Never rained down here outside Philly either

The NWS just issued a flash flood watch for Monroe County (where the track is) from now through tomorrow night. The track is going to get drilled with more rain tonight. I have off tomorrow but I have a bad feeling. The weather does not look good, More rain also means the water table is going to get worse. The weepers were already bad enough today. Fog might be more of an issue tomorrow too.

I'm not sure I will be heading up tomorrow. It really doesn't look good.....

Saw a mention of a 5% chance at start time, but TWC is showing a 75% chance at start time. If I had a 75% chance of winning the lottery, I'd be buying like crazy! With that said, I doubt we'll be racing tomorrow either. Looks like rain early on Tuesday, but dying off later in the day. Considering I'd be working through the entire race tomorrow, I'm personally hoping for a Tuesday race. Sucks for those who are actually at the track though.

Dry through 11am then 50% chance or rain at noon, 60% at 1, 80% at 3.

One of those things where being 2 hours off in the forecast either means no racing or full race.
