These cars seem to handle being behind other cars for super long without frying up.
That’s nice to see but damn, this track is garbage for overtakes.
Then again, Mercedes is also a tractor so, props.

Such a long time coming and it was well-earned. Yes the safety car helped him, but Max was right behind at the restart and he gapped him .

I think he’s cooked regardless at this point. That lineup will be Bearman and someone else next season.
Speaking of which, hilarious to me that Bearman is still sitting in 12th in the WDC after getting called up in emergency for one race.

Damn it. Hamilton misses out on P5 by a tenth.
This is why you always have to push til the checkers. He started to coast with 2 laps to go and lost 2 seconds to Checo.

Yeah, not so much a fan of that one especially after Piastri ran him off track earlier.
Magnussen is almost certainly missing a race this year.

Mags was a danger to everyone right up until they cracked down on the dirty driving post 2021. He was ok for a while, but now he's been reduced to being Hulk's jam car. Kev probably needs to spend a weekend at home.

Ferrari are due to bring their first significant update of the season at Imola. Miami isn’t a completely representative track, and Max had a bit of floor damage from the bollard incident, but the top three teams were so competitive with each other this past weekend it seems fairly optimistic for the racing in the immediate future.

Let’s hope Mercedes gets going now. They’re supposed to bring hefty upgrades at the next 4 races starting with Imola.
This was by far Hamilton’s best race. Really good pace.

Mercedes is in such a dumper that 6th is a good race for them. They have a long way to go.
I think since 2021 we've seen the best Lewis Hamilton ever. He's always got his back against the wall, but he never stops fighting. God help me, but I am probably going to cheer for Ferrari next year.
