Here's hoping Buckshot has a good race but he is not and never will be Winston Cup material. Buckshot is a mediocre driver who got a ride in both series through buying his way in. He is an example of a very personable guy with limited ability competing in the Busch and Winston Cup level.
Yes ,it would be nice to see him do well, but don't get your hopes up. Strange things have happened at Daytona and Talledega when it comes to winners and top ten finishes, but they don't always carry through to other tracks..

All that Buckshot needs is a good team, a team that unfortunately never surfaced in the 44 he can win in Busch, I think he can win one in Winston or I mean Nextel Cup.

Once---and I am totally serious---I thought Jones was a driver who could run brilliantly at times. In the Busch series he did,in fact, have runs that looked pretty impressive. Not sure he ever had a fair shake with the Petty outfit either.

Or maybe I'm wrong and he's not worth a plugged nickle.I dont know for sure, just have a feeling he has more than the #44 could ever show?

I have been a Buckshot fan since his Busch days... I took a liking to him he does have talent IMO. He ran in his own car in Busch and being a Drive/Owner, He had a fool for a boss... Over at PE he got the shaft, After firing him how many drivers stepped into that ride and never made anything of it!!! Over at PE there are big problems... One is and again this is IMO they have to spend money to make money... Driving around on a Sunday isn't my idea of a team... John A. Who I think has some talent just got used to driving around with little or no hope of winning... Yes he won a race but even a blind Squirrel gets a nut... I think that it will be interesting to see what he can do remember this car had a top ten finish last year... So the Equipment is there now all he has to is avoid the big one!!! I hope for a Safe race...

If something happens most everyone will blame Buckshot. But you must remember Buchshot hasn't been in a cup car in over a year. Rusty he will be. And I don't mean Wallace.

As the quote sez, strange things have happened at Daytona and Talledega but it doesn't always carry over to the other ttracks.

Buckshot did hissef proud in the Pepsi 400 and Greg Biffle deserves every congratulation available. He won fair and square. . DEI cars were without question the class of the field with the 48 and 5 showing some strength. As for the winner, had fuel not come into play it is doubtful there would have been a Ford in the top five, and no matter who had the best car, the fact remains the only thing people see twenty years from now is the win in the record book for Biffle.

"As for the winner, had fuel not come into play it is doubtful there would have been a Ford in the top five" I think that there was one thing missed here...IMO the Fords drafted well and Biffle did have two cars in front of him...Bobby had no help and there just isn't enuff Horsepower to get around a car Jr proved that...

BUCKSHOT BUCKSHOT BUCKSHOT He did well!!! That was his forst run in over a year... He stayed out of trouble... Good run for him!!! I hope that this is a fresh start for him!!!
