Well, let's see if I can saw the limb off that I'm sitting on. hehehe

I think Kevin, DaleJr. , Tony and Jeff G. will all be fighting for the top spot.

Among the veterans---Rusty is due, if he will get over his tendencies to micro-adjust the car. I think he gets overly involved with the adjustments and his driving suffers.

Bobby should be stronger this year-----the tires threw him off balance. He should have it back.

Thank goodness I'll be at the 500 and won't have to suffer through the NBC lack of coverage. Of course, if DaleJr. wins, I want a copy! ! LOL

Harvick? Fighting Gordon for a top spot? No offense, but you're in lala-land.

No LaLa Land for me. Without the distraction of trying to run a full BGN schedule, the kid ought to be good. I don't see the dreaded "sophomore slump" hitting him. He also has a truly veteran team behind him, and that's a major plus.

I'm sure RC is buying Prozac and Maalox by the truckload! LOL

Tony, Jeff, Ricky fighting for the top spot.

Bobby, DJ among the top runners this year.

Junior, Kevin close behind, but still not consistant.

Micky will win 1 race. So will Robby.

Terry will not do any better. Neither will Rusty.

Jimmy will have a couple great runs.

DJ will not drive the big brown truck.

I'll be dreaming about going to Daytona with TRL. :(

I'll be kicking my butt for not going to Bristol.

We'll all be *****ing about NBC.

OFan, you're probably right about Ryan. I think he may be a factor. Now, whether it's good or bad, I don't know. He can be very, very good; and, we've all seen him be very, very bad. Hopefully he's learned.

In any case, I think he will be ROTY.

Mark Martin gets back to winning races.

Rusty wins races that he leads the most laps in.

Jeff Gordon continues his winning ways.

Jeff Burton becomes a bigger contender.

Johnny Benson wins his first WC race.

(Sounds more like my wish list than predictions!)

Oh, yes. I would love to see Johnny win a race. :)

I would love to see Kenny win a race. I want to see Steve win another race. Get well soon, Steve.

I want to 2nd that. Great to see Johnny win one. But, I think he should have already won. What does he need? Just a little better luck?

Now I'm getting into 'wishing' rather than predicting, but would I ever like to see Kyle have a good season.

*Jeff Gordon wins his 5th championship.

*Contenders besides the champ Gordon, R. Rudd, D. Jarrett, T. Stewart will start out competive but as usual is not consistent enough.

*ROTY Jimmy Johnson

*NBC coverage gets better, shucks it can't get any worse. Can it?

*Of course Jeff Gordon will win the most races in 2002.

*Rusty Wallace, Mark Martin, Dale Jarrett, Ricky Rudd, Jeff and Ward Burton will all win atleast 2 races

*First time winners are Johnny Benson, Jimmie Johnson, Ryan Newman.

OFan, you could be right about the party. That would be one for the ages! But, wouldn't it be wonderful----both for Kenny and DEI? :)

I wouldnt like to think what Poor Steve Park would think that pennzoil are thinking and thinking about him?

did that make sence?;)

NWC1220, I'm pretty sure that Pennzoil is very happy with Steve. Look at the fact that they were willing to shell out one year's salary for Kenny Wallace even if Steve is able to come back to race at Daytona next month and all Kenny does is the Bud Shootout. That to me says volumes about how much DEI and Pennzoil want Steve back in that #1, but only when he's 100%. :)

Wonder what DEI will do with Kenny when Steve does come back? I can't imagine they'll just keep him around for testing only, he's proven he can drive well in good equipment. A part-time fourth car, perhaps?

Brew, let's not get carried away here. LOL

Actually, I wish Terry all the luck in the world this year. Last year was a crappy year for him, and I don't know that it was all car/equipment related. I think DE's death really crushed him----they were great buddies. After Daytona, it seemed that his whole attitude changed. Some of the fire went out.

Just thought I'd bring this up. Some predictions came true, Mark Martin winning, Benson getting his first win and Stewart winning the championship. I also noticed how many people were so wrong, Harvick had a horrible sophmore year, Jeff Burton didn't win a race, and Jeff Gordon didn't win the championship.

I reckon Harbick screwed every one in there predictions and who would of thought Kyle would of made every race and only have 1 dnf(daytona) Longest no dnf streak in Nascar right now and to of oly used 2 provisionals and that Jeffy Poo would use a provisional
