Yeah wasn't Mikey Waltrip around 476 or something before he got his 1st win, I'm not sure if he is the most but he has to be damn close atleast.

Mikey was way up there 463 starts to get his first win. That may well have been the all time record.

At least Michael got that first win. There are some drivers that raced years and never got that first win, like I believe Lake Speed was up to 700 some races and never won. J.D. McDuffie had something like 600 races w/o a win, I believe.
