Just got DTR2 this weekend. Was visiting out of town, installed it for my hosts after burning them a copy, no problems. Brought the original copy home, installed it, and it won't work right. All the screens are OK until you get to the actual race; then it's jerky and impossible to control. The sky is all farged up too.
This happened with my original DTR, and after a few re-installs it was OK.
We discovered that we were missing a file called dd326.dll. We downloaded that and everything, still the same. Updated video drivers, no help.
Our computer is far superior to the other one, too.
