Knaus leaving Hendrick? hearing [or have leaned] that #48 Hendrick Motorsports crew chief, Chad Knaus will leave the team and driver Jimmie Johnson and go back to Evernham Motorsports [was one of Evernham's fire hires, until moving to #92 Melling team in 2001], then Hendrick Motorsports in 2002 to crew chief Johnson.

Found it. I'll wait 'till I see it on more sites before I believe it. That would be amazing if he left. That team would be turned upside down. Wonder how long of a contract he has, Not that they mean anything.

I'll tell ya, it would not surprise me at all. I think Chad did not make a good decision at Homestead. Seems "Everyone" but JJ and Chad knew that tire was going down. They didn't want to come in and change it because it would cost them positions in the race. Well......................NOT coming in sure cost them, huh????? LOL
I used to like JJ. But his whining has sure turned me off!!!!!
