Jimmie Johnson blew everyone away at vegas, and rightfully so.... his car was found to be too low in post race inspection. The precedent has already been set for this 2 years ago.... 25 point deduction & $50,000 fine. This would drop him to second in points, once again. Second place finisher, Kyle Busch's quarter panels were illegally too high, (found in post race inspection) as well. Haven't heard of this trickery yet, don't know what the fine will be, but likely points to be taken as well. That is, if Nascar stays consistent with the last couple seasons.

I seem to remember that Lil'E was caught with this or something similar last year or the year before. Fine and no points if memory serves.

how do quarter panels get too high after passing prerace template inspection, or a Whole roof drop an inch from a wedge adjustment?
Excuse me folks, but hasn't this topic been covered and recovered, discussed and cussed, and whatever else in other threads here as well as on every other NASCAR and sports site on the internet?
Fines and penalties assessed, appeals heard and results posted?
Cause, effect and results all covered quite thoroughly?
Or is this just an attempt to bring it all out again on an off week?
Other than that, have a nice Easter Sunday; maybe stop for a couple of minutes to reflect on the reason for Celebration.
