Red Bull would seem like a good bet since they are a long time supporter of him and that product line is big on advertising.

Something you are trying to say, Fergy, O' subtle one? <_< Robby's one of the only real drivers in the Off-brand camp.
But I have no idea, seriously. Sponsors seem hard to come by these days. FOTL out of the question? I haven't seen any word.

I think Red Bull should step up some more. Look for them especially if Robby has another good Baja run as they sponsor his truck there. If Hard Liquor sponsors are allowed, then also look for a nod from RB because of the popularity of Red Bull and Vodka drinks at bars. Jayski mentioned something about John Deere, now, I don't know but I've seen a picture of Robby wearing a John Deere hat last weekend...I don't know if he was just wearing it or if they are talking or something, but JD already sponsored some cars? Maybe Kurt Busch? Did they jump out for any reason? Why would they want to come back if they already tried it once and got out. Fruit of the Loom seems quite happy with his performance in the Busch series as of yet. I would look for them to Re-up with Robby. He also has several associate sponsors on his busch car and a few from his indycar that might like to step up their involvement. In a time when sponsors are hard to come by, Robby doesn't seem to have much of a problem with it.

John Deere last sponsored the #97 Roush ford when driven by Chad Little, if memory serves. They would be a good sponsor, in my opinion.

do you know why they got out? I think it would be cool to see them back on the track, it would get a lot of attention, too, because JD memorabilia is a pretty big market, according to the sales in my mom's store.

I have no idea...although I had all the JD Green merchandise myself.
My guess would be failure on Chad's part to return a profit on their investment however.

For what it's worth, aint much I know. I just copy and paste what I want quoted then add quotation marks. Like you, I don't know how to do one quote. Plus I hate the box that goes around it.

Maybe Furit of the loom might come aboard the cup car also.
Red Bull..Cingular might go to the Bush car as smaller sponsor for him, who knows?

i hope not cingular, I'm sick of them and their driver neglect program they seem to have...the entire cingular office in bowling green was entirely unaware that they even sponsored a car, much less who the driver was.

Robby is a little rough around the edges. But he's a racer for sure. I watched him back in the CART days and thought if he got a car with fenders on it he could go places.
RCR is losing a good driver.

yeah, its easy to take a knock at Foyt, how well did you do during your Winston Cup Rookie Year?
Harrah's was still interested in involvement in Motorsports (guess the Foyt team didn't leave too bad of a taste in their mouth. They paired up with Robby to do some stuff with the Meals on Wheels program and I'm not sure that they actually ran that car this year or anything, but Robby was making appearances with the 14 harrah's car for awhile. Harrah's, I believe, does a lot to fund the MonW's program. Regardless, Robby got a good sponsor connection out of it. I had totally forgotten about them. BTW, I thought that the Harrah's car looked pretty sweet, and I liked Larry, too.

Well let's see since I was not trained to drive NASCAR and did not grow up in a racing family and have never driven one I would say my answer is I have not had a Rookie year. It is easy to take a "knock" at him becasue he "hit" the wall just about every race.
I liked Larry, too.
Gee I never would have guessed.

He took over the car from Chad Little towards the end of the season and John Deere was leaving at the end of the year. I thought I remember Busch in a JD uniform and I saw him in it on that MTV special True Life I am a Nascar driver.
