Tony and Jeff both drop back in standings

Tony dropped way back to a distant 7th and Jeff dropped back to 5th because of this fiasco they call Restrictor Plate Racing. What a joke! One lousy break and Jeff and Tony are all of a sudden behind Rusty Wallace and this was Rusty's first top 5 this year. Unbelievable!

Whoa, fan of 5. This race would have 'sucked' if DE was still there and won it!!!!!
Tis the dam race; NOT any specific driver!!!!!
I, for one am done with 'plate' races. After yesterday's BGN wreck fest, and tonight's same'o Same'o, and last year, and the year before that!!!
I just say, "STOP THE MADNESS" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely. When Tony won that wreck fest at Texas I still bashed the race and said it sucked.

I don't have a favorite driver.

i enjoy TONA and DEGA........i don't like wrecks...............but i like the close racing................maybe i am the only NASCAR fan in the world that likes TONA and DEGA................but two weeks ago, i heard how much Sears Point sucks.............i am a NASCAR fan.............every track is different, and the champions are the ones who can navigate each track more skillfully then the other 42 racers...............i get this excited over Homestead and yes, HOMESTEAD is a boring track..............i just don't understand how people can bash the sport they love so much..............i am not trying to be offensive, or upset anyone..................

You're not offending anyone dude, we're just raisin' some hell. Havin a good time arguing about the sport. If we were watching it at a bar together we would be buying each other beers, but still arguing about it all. :)

I just don't enjoy races that breed near death experiences for the drivers. I don't like to see driver's moms on TV having nervous breakdowns.

Wait a minute.....he has more top 10 finishes then Tony or Jeff if I am not mistaken 4X. He may not have won a race this year (neither has Gordon), but has been pretty consistent in placing top 10 in almost every race yet. He was very impressive tonight..moved from 6th to 4th in points and has shown true competitiveness. Rusty is a contender.

Sorry to correct you Rustyfan, but Rusty has 10 top 10s and only 1 top 5.

Jeff has 5 top 5s and 10 top 10s

Only Martin and Johnson have more top tens, 12 and 11 respectively.

And the race still sucked.

Wreck fests don't bother me, and I don't even have a problem that Jeff and Tony didn't do that great and I am a fan of them both, it's just racin.

i feel ya 4xchampncountin............i think that Gordon fans are probably the most frustrated right now, because everyone, every weekend hypes up about when he is going to get his next win...........must get annoying
