Nolan Siegel, if anyone at all. The way the rule is now worded is that only those who participated in P&Q are eligible for the fill-in pool. McLaren had been looking for an exception and, at least so far, it doesn’t appear they’re going to get it.

Not sure I am completely sold on this look just yet, but I can see the vision. Regardless, I appreciate that BMW keeps this tradition alive.

This car has probably helped the product at Charlotte and this event more than anywhere else. The Gen 6 had some absolute slogs here.

Officiating is pretty inconsistent, but most of what Clark has been called for has been legit tonight. Does seem like in general there are different thresholds for physicality allowed depending on which jersey you’re wearing though.

7 Track was really wide and racey for a repave and the race was way more competitive than last year’s. Bring a full daytime points race here with 2x as much traffic and 20-30F hotter track temp and things probably get really fun. All-star events are whatever these days anyways.

Dixon had a test with Williams in the mid-2000s and probably would’ve done pretty well if he had gotten the seat. I think there’s more diversity in backgrounds now than there has been in a while; there are a lot of guys who have race wins at some level in different disciplines. Talent vacuum...
